Sandy Hathaway’s soulful, acoustic approach coupled with trained guitar and vocals makes her music especially good for wine rooms coffee shops and restaurants. Sandy released her debut, full length, album Edge of Twilight at Sail Inn January 2014. She has been performing and writing songs for 15 yrs. in Arizona, Michigan, California, Hawaii and Belize, Central America. She started singing cover songs and original music in the coffee shops in Arizona. Her songs are laced with colorful metaphors and her vocal style has been compared to Joni Mitchell, Patty Griffin and Dar Williams. Sandy writes songs from her heart and experiences growing up on a farm, with people and places that made lasting impressions in her life.
The list of cover songs is extensive, over six hours of music. She covers Blues, Jazz, Acoustic Rock, R&B, Pop and Folk music genres. Her 70’s folk song list includes music by folk icons: Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Simon & Garfunkel and many more. Continuously learning the newest top 40 hits by artist like: Justin Timberlake, Christina Perri, Pixie Lott and songs that continue to be popular by Amy Winehouse, Tom Waits, Eagles, Stevie Nicks and many more.
