  • Chars LIVE

Love this place. My girlfriend and I come every now and then when we're bar hopping on Melrose. They have live music and it's a cool spot. Performers are always awesome. People let loose and dance too. Dimly lit, cool lounge type vibe. I usually get a martini and it's always on point. Definitely recommend coming here for date night.

  • Copper Blues Live

My boyfriend and I came here for his 30th birthday and we were not disappointed. We came in on a whim after deciding we would go to Carefree and eat at the first restaurant that appealed to us. We looked up the menu online and thought we should give it a  try.

  • Handlebar J

Handlebar J, "Scottsdale's Original Rib House" and saloon, is one of a kind; Herndon family owned and operated since 1975… (established in 1966.)

Built in the early 1960s by "Wild Bill Byrd" the original name was "Wild Bill's". At that time there were only a few western style saloons in North Scottsdale, since then, all the others have come and gone. In the 60's anything north of Lincoln blvd. were tumbleweeds, rattlesnakes, and cowboys. "Wild Bill's" was a dancehall and honky-tonk that had live music, chicken wire in front of the stage and all! One of the regular performers was the then unknown Waylon Jennings.
  • Harold’s Cave Creek Corral

If it happens in Cave Creek, it happens at Harold’s. Johnny Walker opened the Corral Bar in 1935 to serve the workers who were building Bartlett Dam. It became Harold’s Cave Creek Corral in 1950 when local character Harold Gavagan purchased it. It has spawned a million crazy stories – from lions and tigers caged in the back to Harold himself along with his flamboyant friends, movie stars, (real) cowboys and other colorful characters. Gavagan’s flamboyant ways helped to turn it into the local landmark that it is today.

  • Pulaski Club Phoenix

With the rapid passing of time, I have become aware that a written history of the Pulaski Club of Phoenix should be compiled for all who care about its past history as passionately as I do. As the club's historian over the many years of its existence, I have undertaken this daunting task using available records, some consultation with several longtime dedicated members, and a reliance on my own memory of the mother lode of events that have transpired since our club was organized in May, 1939.
